Juventus full-back Patrice Evra has insisted that he is working harder than ever since joining the Serie A champions.
Evra moved to Turin in the summer after spending eight successful seasons at Manchester United, where he picked up five Premier League winners medals.
However, despite playing in such an illustrious United side, the 33-year-old revealed that he is working harder than ever in training, even more so than under disciplinarian Sir Alex Ferguson.
"In the training sessions I'm working a lot, I have never worked so much in life," Evra said in a press conference.
"The difference is that the game is less intense, but more tactical. You must be most concentrated and being attentive on to things, which comes from extra training.
After making his debut in Saturday's win over Udinese, Evra has shifted his attentions to this week's Champions League opener with Malmo, and is aiming to help the Old Lady improve on last season's showing on the continent.
"We must do better than last season in Champions League, this is the aim," Evra added.
"We must take the matches one by one. The Champions League is a really good competition. Juve have big players and we must do something good."
