Quinn leaves Doncaster

Right-back Paul Quinn has agreed to cancel the final year of his Doncaster contract by mutual consent.

The former Scotland Under-21 international arrived at the Keepmoat from Cardiff and missed just three league games as Rovers won the League One title in 2012/13. He agreed a new deal that summer and played another 30 times, scoring once, as the club slipped to a dramatic final-day relegation. This activated a release clause in the player's contract, and Quinn has not been considered for selection by manager Paul Dickov since revealing that he intended to leave. He made 68 appearances for the club in total.
