Corinthians striker Paolo Guerrero admits he is still hoping to move back to Europe before the transfer window closes next month.
Guerrero has reportedly been the subject of a loan bid from West Ham, while Sunderland are also said to be keen to land the former Bayern Munich forward.
Speaking after scoring for Corinthians on Thursday evening in their 5-2 win over GOIAS, he told Globe Esporte that he is still hopeful of returning to Europe.
"Which player doesn't want to return to Europe? They all do. But I remain focused, we have the objective of being champions, so I can't talk about anything else," he said.
He was asked about the interest of West Ham and Sunderland, and added: "I know there was interest from West Ham, I think they contacted Corinthians. I am aware of those two clubs.
"But I can't say more because I don't know the details."
Guerrero is contracted to Corinthians until 2015, who are keen to keep hold of the 30-year-old.
