West Brom have rejected a third bid from Burnley for defender Craig Dawson, Sky sources understand.
The tabled offer was believed to be just over £2million, but West Brom do not want to lose the former England Under 21 international.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche has made Dawson one of his top transfer targets this summer and had previously seen two offers for the centre-back rejected by the Baggies.
Sky Sports revealed last month that Burnley were preparing a third bid for Dawson, but again Dyche has seen his overtures snubbed by their Premier League rivals.
Dawson has found opportunities limited at the Hawthorns – making only 21 appearances for the club since joining in 2010 - and Burnley were hoping to finally agree a deal, but again have seen their offer for the 24-year-old rebuffed.
