Hull City have announced goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic has signed a new two-year contract with the Premier league club.

Jakupovic, who arrived at Hull in July 2012 after leaving Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, had reached the end of his previous contract this summer.

He has made 10 appearances in all competitions for the Tigers and had two loan spells with Leyton Orient earlier this year.

The 29-year-old has one senior cap for Switzerland and has also played at U21 level for Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Jakupovic is the second City player to sign a new contract in 24 hours, with full-back Joe Dudgeon having agreed a one-year deal on Tuesday.
