Plymouth's newest recruit Kelvin Mellor is dreaming of a Wembley win in the play-offs next season.

Former Crewe defender Mellor has played and won at Wembley twice before, once in the League Two play-off final in 2012. He told the club's website: "(A visit to Wembley) would be unbelievable. I can't really picture it any better to be honest if that happened. "Both times were days to remember. I cherish those moments and I'm just looking to kick on now." Mellor links up with his new team-mates after five years at Gresty Road. He added: "It's a tough league, because a lot of the teams are similar and play similar football. But hopefully we've got the quality to push on and get promoted. "For starters, the manager is well-known. There is a good following with the supporters. I just want to play football. "I've never been away from home and it's a fair distance from here so it's like a new world. It was a long journey, but well worth it. "I can't wait to get started now. It's a new challenge.and we will see what the season brings."
