Brentford winger Stuart Dallas has signed a new three-year contract with the newly-promoted Sky Bet Championship club.

The 23-year-old Northern Ireland international has been rewarded with a new deal following an impressive end to the season, much to the delight of Mark Warburton.

The Bees boss told the club's official website: "I first tracked Stuart more than two years ago when we signed him.

"It is important to remember the progress Stuart has made over the last 24 months. He has made the difficult transition from part-time football in Northern Ireland to our level at Brentford.

"He has shown substantial progress, demonstrating outstanding desire to move his career forward. He had some excellent displays at the end of last season.

"Stuart has not had an academy upbringing so he still has an enormous amount of development potential left.

"We are looking forward to watching him compete for a first team starting place.

"I am sure he will make a valuable contribution to our first season in the Championship."
