Cureton happy with form

Cheltenham striker Jamie Cureton admits Robins fans are finally seeing what he is capable of.

The 38-year-old striker scored twice in the 2-0 win at Mansfield to take his tally for the season to 11 since making the move from Exeter last summer. But having finished second in the division's goalscoring charts with 21 goals for the Grecians last season, he admits he has not reached those heights for the Robins. "It's not been a great season, but I am on 11 and if I can finish with 12-15 with the number of games I have started it's not too bad," Cureton told the Gloucestershire Echo. "Cheltenham have not seen what I was producing last year for Exeter, but I know I can still do that and hopefully I showed it at Mansfield. "He (boss Mark Yates) sees me every day in training and he knows I am still fit and able to perform at this level, I just want to finish with a few more goals now."
