Hamburg have denied reports that the likes of Rafael van der Vaart have been offered to other clubs in order to reduce their wage bill.
The Bundesliga club are fighting for top-flight survival and currently sit 16th in the table, just a point outside the bottom two.
Recent speculation has claimed that Van der Vaart, Rene Adler, Heiko Westermann, Jonathan Tah and Ivo Ilicevic have been put up for sale.
However, Hamburg have released a statement to dismiss the claims and are determined to retain their focus on the battle to stay up.
"Hamburger SV explicitly denies players of the first-team squad have been offered for sale," read the club statement.
"It is also at odds with the truth that player agents have been commissioned to actively recommend Hamburg players.
"The club will not lose its focus on its way to Bundesliga safety due to rumours from some troublemakers.
"We are not going to leave the new track of solidarity and coherence of supporters, squad, coaching staff, authorities and the city of Hamburg."
