Nottingham Forest striker Marcus Tudgay has returned to the City Ground after his loan spell with Charlton Athletic was cut short.
The 31-year-old made his temporary move to The Valley on February 21 and he was scheduled to remain with the Addicks for the remainder of the season.
Tudgay made two substitute appearances in Sky Bet Championship games following his switch and also started in the 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Sheffield United on March 9.
However, all those appearances came under former boss Chris Powell and he has not featured since Jose Riga took over as boss.
As a result it has been decided that it would be in the best interests of both clubs if he returns to Nottingham Forest.
