Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin says that he expects to extend his contract with the Serie A side.
The 27-year-old was thought to be close to joining Juventus during the January transfer window before the move collapsed.
And speaking to Sky Italia, Guarin says he'd be happy to stay at the club for as long as they want him.
He said: "After what happened with the proposed move, I had to work more, because supporters are expecting a lot from me.
"The recent experience taught me a lot and if the contract is ready, I will sign it. Should Erick Thohir (Inter president) offer me the chance to sign for life with Inter, then I would.
"Mr Thohir has said that I am important and that I must give my heart to the team."
