Bantams receive McLean boost

Bradford striker Aaron McLean is not expected to be ruled out for long after being forced out of the weekend win against MK Dons.

McLean, signed from Hull for an undisclosed fee last month, was withdrawn midway through the second half on Saturday due to a troublesome hamstring, while goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin also sustained a knock "We're not sure how they are now at the moment. We'll have to see," boss Phil Parkinson said after striker James Hanson's 10th goal of the season midway through the second half had secured his side a second successive 1-0 home win. "Aaron had a tight hamstring after Tuesday but never for one minute did I think he wouldn't make today (Saturday). I never thought he wouldn't put himself out there today. "I don't think it is too serious, which is good because he's put a lot of effort in."
