Crewe's Thierry Audel is set to go on trial at Torquay ahead of a proposed loan move, his parent-club have confirmed.
The French defender arrived at Alex during the summer but has failed to make his mark at the Alexandra Stadium, making just one start in the 3-0 defeat to Gillingham, prompting a potential move to Plainmoor.
