Mustapha Carayol has warned the rest of the Sky Bet Championship that Middlesbrough fear no-one as they attempt to drag themselves into the promotion race.
Substitute Carayol's late double fired the Teessiders to a 2-0 victory at Blackpool at the weekend, their fourth win in five outings, as new manager Aitor Karanka continues to reap the rewards of his hard work.
Carayol told the Northern Echo: "We are not scared of any team in this league. I don't think we should be.
"We have got to go into every game and keep our performance levels up, and we will get our rewards in the end.
"There's a lot of confidence through the squad. I hope it carries on and we can make the play-offs, if not better.
"Since day one, training has changed, the competitiveness has been raised tenfold, everyone is buzzing in training.
"Everybody knows that when you are given the shirt you have to go and do the business on the pitch, because you won't play the next one if you don't."
