Manset leaves Sky Blues

Coventry announce they have terminated the contract of Mathieu Manset by mutual consent.

The striker signed for the Sky Blues on a one-year deal in the summer and made a total of nine substitute appearances, scoring one goal in the club's dramatic 4-4 draw against Preston. However, the 24-year-old Frenchman has not featured since the end of October and is now free to find another club. Manset previously played for Hereford, Reading, Swiss club FC Sion and Carlisle, who released him at the end of last season.
