Exeter midfielder Matt Oakley is set to be sidelined for another six to eight weeks, boss Paul Tisdale has revealed. The 36-year-old former Leicester man has been sidelined since early October after suffering serious ankle damage in the Devon derby win over Plymouth. The Grecians have struggled, especially at home, in Oakley's absence but Tisdale explained City fans will not be seeing Oakley this month. "I would say his target at the moment is to get back into training in early February and after that it could be two to four weeks before he is ready for a match," Tisdale told the Express & Echo. "It is very difficult to predict the time it will take between starting to train with the team and being able to compete and play in a first team match."
