Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle believes the Premier League title race is wide open and will go down to the wire this season.
Schurrle, who joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, has been impressed by the competitive nature of the Premier League and feels there are up to seven teams in the title race.
Chelsea are currently in third spot, five points behind leaders Arsenal heading into the latest round of fixtures, and Schurrle expects the race to take many twists and turns before May.
"It will be close all the way,' Schurrle told the Daily Mail.
"In Germany, maybe you have three teams with really good quality but in England maybe seven who can spend so much money to have big, high-quality squads."
Schurrle has found himself in and out of the Chelsea side since his arrival and he marked his first Premier League start in six games with two goals in the defeat against Stoke last weekend.
However, the German insists he has no problem with Jose Mourinho's rotation policy of his star-studded squad.
"In the last four years I played almost every match for almost 90 minutes," added Schurrle.
"I wanted to come here and be in the big squad with world-class players because that's how you learn to be a world-class player, too."
