VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Diego claims he is concentrating on adapting to Dieter Hecking's style of play, rather than rumours about his future.

The 28-year-old Brazil international is currently the highest paid player on the Wolfsburg pay roll but is out of contract come the end of the season.

Playmaker Diego has featured in 10 of Wolfsburg's 12 Bundesliga clashes to date and produced performances which have attracted European attention.

German media reports suggest English Premier League and Spanish La Liga clubs have registered interest in the midfielder.

Although Diego admits he knows there are offers on the table, the player insists there is no final decision made as yet.

"It's a fact I am receiving many, many enquiries but there is still nothing official to reveal."

Speaking to Kicker-Sport magazine he said: "Many people are obviously out to find me a new club to play for.

"But there is no decision to be taken just yet. It's a fact I am receiving many, many enquiries but there is still nothing official to reveal."

While transfer speculation continues to circulate in the media, Diego remains focussed on adapting to manager Hecking's developing formation.

"Actually, I am listening carefully to the Wolfsburg manager, I am doing a good job in trying to adapt to his ideas.

"I am attempting to become a better player."

Diego will travel with Wolfsburg to face Freiburg on Sunday afternoon in the Bundesliga as they look to continue climbing the Bundesliga rankings from sixth.
