Crewe have completed the signing of Fulham goalkeeper Neil Etheridge on loan until January 1.

The 23-year-old, who has represented the Philippines 42 times at international level, has previously enjoyed spells with Charlton and Bristol Rovers. Etheridge's only Fulham appearance came in the Europa League against Odense in December 2011. "Neil is one of the keepers who I think should go on loan and get 50-75 games under his belt because he's talented," Cottagers boss Martin Jol told the club's official website.. "Etheridge hasn't got the experience yet. He's played one match for us. He has never played in the Premier League and I think goalkeepers are living by experience." Etheridge is set to make his Crewe debut against Port Vale on Saturday.
