Wolves defender Matt Doherty has paid tribute to League One top two Leyton Orient and Peterborough.

Leaders Orient and second-placed Posh have each won 10 of their 12 games and sit six and five points respectively ahead of third-place Wolves, who have played one fixture fewer. But the 21-year-old wing-back believes the Molineux club are ideally placed at this early stage of the season and is confident they will remain among the league's front runners. "We've had a great start in terms of points and know we've just got to stay in there and try and catch the top two, who have been flying," he told his club's official website. "I think we're fine where we are and if we were in any other division we'd probably be top of the league. "It shows the competition in League One and how keen people are to try and get promoted and certainly at least give it a good shot. "We've just got to keep calm and focused and concentrating on what we're doing because if we keep up with these sort of results we will certainly be up there or thereabouts at the end of the season."
