McEveley baffled by loss

Jay McEveley cannot remember being on the losing side after dominating a match like Swindon did at Molineux on Saturday.

The 28-year-old struggled to believe how they did not take a point against Wolves in their 3-2 loss but believes if they continue to play at that level then a play-off place will not be out of the question. "Obviously we're disappointed but we've said to each other that we're eight games into the season with a new squad, there's been a total change at the football club and we come to a place like Wolves and play like that," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "I don't think there's any cause for concern, really. "I've never played in a game like that in my life, to be honest with you, when you've had total domination for 90 minutes and come away with nothing. "I don't know how many chances we've created - enough to win four games - and we just haven't put the ball in the back of the net. "I don't see how you can take any negatives out of the game. If we play like that every week we're going to go close to the top six."
