Bristol City defender James Wilson is poised to join Cheltenham Town on loan, Sky Sports understands.
Highly-rated defender Wilson is going out on loan in a bid to get regular first-team football after finding his chances limited at Bristol City.
The 24-year-old, who has attracted the interest of the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton in the past, is determined to be playing on a regular basis as he aims to recapture his best form.
A number of clubs are believed to have enquired about signing the versatile defender on loan, but Cheltenham boss Mark Yates has moved quickly to bring him to Whaddon Road.
The former Wales Under 21 international, who is in the final year of his contract at Bristol City, is expected to join Cheltenham on an initial one-month loan deal.
