Rochdale have completed the signing of goalkeeper Robbie Thomson following a successful trial with the club.
Thomson, 25, has spent the last three weeks with Dale and manager Keith Hill has rewarded the former Celtic youth stopper with a permanent deal. "Having witnessed in training what his capabilities are, Robbie is in sync with what I expect from a goalkeeper. We'll continue to progress him, develop him and give him an opportunity," Hill told the club's official website. "For me, it's great that we've brought him in as a rival to Josh Lillis as I believe with the recruitment of Robbie that we've got two very capable goalkeepers."
