FC Nurnberg general manager Martin Bader says defender Timm Klose could be set for a move to Wolfsburg, but he has ruled out a move for FC Zurich striker Josip Drmic.

Nurnberg's Bundesliga rivals have been linked with Klose after the Swiss international impressed last season and he could reunite with former boss Dieter Hecking.

The 25-year-old has one more year remaining on his contract but Bader says that an exit could be on the cards this summer.

"I am able to confirm this transfer rumour," he told BILD.

"Actually, Timm Klose is back home in Basel, Switzerland, as he will be going to make a decision on his future there.

"As far as I am concerned, it's important for him to find out which club will be best for him to qualify for a berth in the FIFA 2014 World Cup squad of Switzerland."

FC Zurich director Massimo Rizzo claimed the club had received a bid from a Bundesliga side for Swiss striker Drmic but Bader was quick to dismiss the suggestion.

"We are aware of Josip Drmic, but we are not keen on his signature," he said.

"Signing a third striker this summer, after the arrivals of Daniel Ginczek and Mariusz Stepinski, would have been an option for us if one other striker of our squad had been wanting to move on. Actually I can rule this out."
