Swansea defender Ben Davies shrugs off PFA snub

Swansea City defender Ben Davies has no complaints about being overlooked by the PFA for their Young Player of the Year award.

Competition

For now, Davies is focused on ending the season as positively as possible, with Taylor having recovered from a badly broken leg to make a welcome return to action during Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. He added: "It's great to have him back in the squad. It's good for me too. It means we have competition now and we'll be both fighting for the shirt. "But I'm only thinking about Manchester City on Saturday because that's going to be another very hard game for us. "Beating them last season was probably our best Premier League win. It's one of the big scalps we have had. There is no reason why we can't go and do it again. "I'm confident the lads can reach those heights. We're a confident bunch of players and I'm sure if we work hard then we can get something out of the game."
