Bolton boss Dougie Freedman is hopeful of extending Robert Hall's loan deal from West Ham at the end of the month.

The Scot strengthened his options by bringing in the winger as well as Danny Butterfield from Southampton before the loan deadline.

And if the England youth international impresses over the next couple of games, Freedman will look to extend the 19-year-old's stay at the Reebok.

"He's a good young player I have tried to get before," Freedman told the Bolton News. "He's dynamic with loads of potential. We've got him for a month and I'll suss it from there."

Wanderers are currently sitting just outside the play-off positions in the Championship having suffered just two defeats in their last ten matches and Freedman admits there is a feelgood factor spreading at the club.

"They (the fans) are now expecting to come along and see decent football and their team not getting beat.

"We have still got to change a few of those draws into wins, and that should be what the fans are looking forward to."
