PSV Eindhoven manager Dick Advocaat is ready to promote striker Jurgen Locadia to a more integral first-team role after the teenager's hat-trick secured a place in the KNVB Beker final.
PSV are seeking to defend their cup title and win the competition for a 10th time, and Locadia's second treble of the season saw them to a 3-0 away victory over PEC Zwolle in the semi-final.
The win carries PSV through to a showdown with surprise finalists AZ Alkmaar on May 9, after AZ won 3-0 at Ajax.
Locadia put PSV 2-0 ahead by half-time and added his third goal late on, capping an outstanding performance on a rare start for the club.
The 19-year-old first came to prominence with three goals as a substitute in a 6-0 win over VVV Venlo back in September, in what was his Eredivisie debut.
Advocaat said after the performance: "Locadia has been knocking on the door for some time yet and could feature in the first-team more regularly. He played some good football."
The PSV boss added: "The game plan tactics proved to be effective. We defended compactly and offered plenty of goal threat."
"I think we should have killed off the game after we had doubled the lead, but, all in all, I was delighted to see the team looking sharp."
