Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero is not thinking about a potential transfer to Real Madrid, according to his agent.
The 28-year-old Spain international and former West Bromwich Albion player has been linked with a return to the club where he began his career as an Academy graduate following his fine form for UEFA Champions League-chasing Fiorentina.
But Valero's representative, Alejandro Camano, claims his client is not interested in moving back to Real, who he left in 2007 after never making a first-team appearance.
"We are very quiet because Borja plays in a great team and he is very happy at Fiorentina," Camano told calciomercato.it.
"These rumours about Real Madrid are not our issues. The player is happy with the team, the coach and the club.
"And then the fans give him lots of love and he is very happy in Florence.
"Real Madrid are the best team in the world but nobody has called me. Borja is highly focused on Fiorentina and he is not thinking about the market."
After leaving Real six years ago, Valero also played for Mallorca and Villarreal either side of his three years at West Brom.
