Spireites duo set for run-out

Richard Brindley and Armand Gnanduillet are both set to start for Chesterfield against Belper Town in the Derbyshire Senior Cup.

Right-back Brindley, a former Norwich trainee, arrived from Chelmsford 11 days ago on a deal until the end of the season while out-of-contract Ivorian striker Gnanduillet signed for the same length of time last week. Gnanduillet, 20, made his debut for the Spireites as a late substitute in Saturday's home defeat to Southend while 19-year-old Brindley was among the unused replacements. Chesterfield boss Paul Cook will use the Belper tie on Tuesday night to give the pair some valuable match action. Defender Conor Townsend, who recently extended his loan from Hull until the end of the season, has also been included in the squad. Other senior players in contention are Jack Lester, Scott Boden, Mark Randall and Jacob Hazel.
