Marseille are close to bringing in a replacement for Loic Remy, with a deal for Cluj striker Modou Sougou in place.
The French outfit are in need of a new frontman after offloading Remy to Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers.
They have wasted little time in looking to bolster their ranks, with Senegalese ace Sougou quickly identified as a possible target.
The 28-year-old joined Cluj in 2011 and saw his efforts in Romania attract attention from Russia, Ukraine, England and France.
Marseille would appear to have won the race for his services, with a signature all that is required to complete a deal.
A Cluj official said "It's an official offer and everything is agreed. The only thing that's needed is the player's signature.
"Everyone wants the transfer: us, the player, his agents.
"Marseille are prepared to meet the termination clause, so we have no reason to reject the proposal."
