Shakers move easy for Ethan

Defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell claims it was a simple to decision to opt for a loan return to Bury.

The 20-year-old was back with the Shakers to start Saturday's 1-1 draw at MK Dons, just over a week on from his initial loan expiring. Although Ebanks-Landell might have expected new Wolves boss Dean Saunders to take a closer look at him, he is more than happy to press his claims through the opportunity of further first-team football. "It was an easy option for me," he told Bury's official website. "Back at Wolves we were about to play Cheltenham in the reserves but I got a call telling me that I had to be back at Bury for Tuesday morning and training. "I'm here for five weeks now so I will take each opportunity as it comes along. I thought it was a bit of a surprise with Wolves getting a new manager in. "I was expecting a few more days to work with him and to see if I could get involved but he has bigger priorities than me. If I do enough in the next five weeks then he might call me up."
