Kerr wants more from York

York midfielder Scott Kerr wants to see more conviction from his team-mates as they seek to end their run of poor form.

The Minstermen have gone seven games without a victory in all competitions, having slumped to a 2-0 home defeat to Torquay at the weekend. Gary Mills' side have won just two of their 12 games at Bootham Crescent so far this term and Kerr has issued a rallying call to his fellow players. He told the York Press: "We don't talk enough as a team. That's a fact but we are all grown men in there and I think people need to step up. "When you cross that white line and you are out there, it's a lonely place at times and the crowd are on your back and it's hard but we have got to stick together as a team and a club. "We need to pick up the three points sooner rather than later. You need to win your home games and we are not doing that."
