League Two side Rotherham have signed Hull City winger Jamie Devitt on a 28-day loan.

The 22-year-old has been brought to the New York Stadium following the shoulder injury to Lionel Ainsworth which will keep him out for upto two months. Devitt, who has not played for the Tigers under Steve Bruce this season, has had previous loan spells at Bradford and Accrington and will go into the squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Stevenage. Boss Steve Evans said: "He is predominantly a right winger, but he can be very effective on the left, we have seen him in both areas of the pitch. "He is somebody we have known for a couple of years. He is not getting a game in the Championship, but is hungry to play and has great ability. "He played in Hull's reserves on Tuesday and was their best player."
