Daniels braced for hostility

Bournemouth defender Charlie Daniels expects a hostile reception when he faces his former club Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Daniels made 137 appearances for Orient and did not escape the attention of the O's faithful last season, however he is not put off by a repeat scenario at Goldsands Stadium. "It is part and parcel when you come up against the team you left and it's a good bit of banter," he told the club's official website. "They knew I wanted to move on from there, so I don't mind it at all." Daniels will not be the only player going up against his former employers, however, with the Cherries welcoming back Michael Symes and Mathieu Baudry. The Bournemouth left-back added: "I still talk to them, and when they first moved there I helped them out with where to move and settle there. "Outside of football, we are still friends and it was nice to help and I was pleased that they asked me to. They are good people and we will have a chat before and after the game, but once the whistle goes, that's it - they are the enemies."
