Rotherham assistant manager Paul Raynor admits the absence of Iceland international Kari Arnason has been a big blow to his side.
The 29-year-old, who has been deployed in both midfield and defence this season, has missed the last four matches after picking up an ankle injury in his country's World Cup qualifying victory over Norway at the start of the month. "We have all got or fingers and toes crossed that Kari is available for us," Raynor said ahead of Saturday's clash with Oxford. "He has done a couple of days training and he will have a fitness test on Saturday morning. "Everyone that supports Rotherham will be hopeful that he is available because he is a massive player for us and he has been sorely missed. "We're not a one-man team, but he is important to us. He brings a calmness to us, he is creative in the midfield area and he is a steadying influence at the back. "If he is fit we need to find out where best to utilise him because he is equally adept in midfield or at the back."
