Hoffenheim midfielder Sandro Wieser is considering a return to Switzerland in the search of first-team football.
The Liechtenstein international moved to Germany less than one year ago but has struggled to feature in the Bundesliga.
Wieser has as a result grown frustrated and he has been linked with a January move to Grasshopper Club of Zurich.
He said in Liechtensteiner Vaterland: "It's pretty much difficult for me at Hoffenheim.
"I am doing fine in training but still I do not believe I will soon be handed a chance in the league.
"I have heard about being linked with a move to Grasshopper Club. My agent told me. I have not been in touch with Grasshopper Club.
"[Moving back to Switzerland] would be one solution but we will have to wait and see if I am really not getting match action.
"It's still a fact my next move will just be based on the chance to play regularly in a first team. I know Grasshopper Club would be a club that could offer me that."
