Dean Holdsworth felt the loss of two more players during his side's 2-1 loss to Exeter had a significant impact on the game.

But he held no grudges against Anthony Tonkin, whose intercepted free-kick led to the winning goal, instead reiterating the importance of keeping up high standards this season. "Tonkin has held his hands up and has taken the blame," said Holdsworth. "We have never practised what happened and it's one of those mistakes that we have to live with and on a night when I thought we were going to draw we came up against a decent side. "The loss of the players we have out at the moment and losing Craig Reid and Alex Rodman in the game affected us. "But you need to do the basics well and we should have put in a decent delivery, but we got punished and we can't drop below the standards we have set."
