AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves is looking for great things from former Dean Court stalwart Richard Hughes.
The midfielder, 33, has rejoined the Cherries after leaving for Portsmouth more than 10 years ago. Groves believes he will bring a wealth of experience to his side's engine room when he completes a medical this week and signs a two-year deal. He told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "As a person he is very intelligent and a solid character. "He brings an intelligence to the pitch in terms of his positional play, breaking up play and sensing danger. He will give us balance on the left-hand side and more of a physical presence in both boxes."
