Southend have completed the signing of Aldershot defender Anthony Straker for next season.
The 23-year-old left-back has agreed a two-year deal with Paul Sturrock's side. Due to Straker's age, a transfer fee must be paid and will be set by a Football League tribunal if the clubs cannot reach an agreement. Straker made 222 appearances for the Shots and has played international football for Grenada despite representing England at Under-18 level. He also spent time on loan with Wycombe in 2011.
