York pair Scott Kerr and Ashley Chambers have signed one-year contract extensions with the club.

Midfielder Kerr, voted player of the year for the 2011/12 season, damaged his cruciate ligament injury in March but played a key role for the Minstermen up until then as they secured FA Trophy and promotion success. Chambers was intrumental in his wide role at Wembley in both finals, firing City's opener in their 2-1 Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final win against Luton last month. He scored 10 goals in a total of 45 appearances for Gary Mills' side. York will embark on their first season back in the Football League in eight years when the 2012/13 season gets underway in August.
