Striker does not want to play in the Championship

Yakubu Aiyegbeni has indicated he could leave Blackburn following their relegation from the Premier League. Blackburn are bracing themselves for bids for a number of their top stars following their drop into the Championship and top scorer Yakubu is sure to attract interest. The former Everton and Portsmouth man, who scored 18 goals this season, is happy at Blackburn, but concedes he does not want to play in the Championship next season. "I still have two years left with Blackburn, but I played in the Championship before," said Yakubu. "It was good but I don't want to play in there again. "In football, you never know what is going to be, but Blackburn really has been a part of me. "I felt at home there but we'll see what is going to happen. I think it's too early to say whether I'll be moving on. I may be in the Championship. I may be in the Premier League."
