Dagenham & Redbridge ace Brian Woodall has admitted he is flattered to be linked with moves away from Victoria Road.
Woodall, who joined Dagenham from non-league Gresley Rovers, has been a revelation for John Still's side since breaking into the starting line-up.
The 24-year-old has made the step up to the professional ranks seamlessly and he has netted 13 goals in 26 starts for Dagenham when playing as a winger or a striker this term, despite their troubles at the wrong end of the League Two table.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with clubs higher up the football pyramid keeping tabs on Woodall's progress.
Nottingham Forest are understood to have lodged a bid for Woodall, while several other Championship sides are keen on his services.
Woodall admits he is flattered by the speculation linking him with bigger clubs, but insists he is just focused on continuing to learn his trade.
"I have heard the rumours going around that there are a few teams looking at me and it is very flattering, but I have not heard anything from the gaffer," Woodall told
skysports.com.
"I am just focusing on my football and what happens will happen as it will be between the two clubs."
Settled in quickly
Woodall admits he is surprised at how quickly he has settled into the professional ranks after joining Dagenham.
"It is my first year as a professional and I feel I have done alright," added Woodall.
"The gaffer did not want me to play so early, but he had to throw me in because of injuries and I have got used to playing at this level pretty quickly.
"My confidence was not so high when I started, but when I got my first goal my confidence soared and I have gone on from there.
"I have made the step up from non-league to League Two and people are still saying I can do even better and that is great to hear."
Woodall scored a hat-trick in last weekend's win over Bristol Rovers and the talented forward admits it was the highlight of his career to date.
"It was a good feeling to score my first hat-trick for Dagenham," continued Woodall. "I have to thank my team-mates for helping me score my hat-trick and it was a great way to round off a brilliant first season for myself."
