Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels is keen to sort out extended contracts for the club's League Cup winners - including a lengthy deal of his own.

Shiels led Killie to a remarkable 1-0 win over Celtic at Hampden Park last month to bring a trophy to Rugby Park for the first time in 15 years.

And the 55-year-old wants to tie up contract extensions for defenders James Fowler, Garry Hay and Manuel Pascali as well as himself.

Shiels told "I have to prioritise because I'm looking at Fowler, Hay and Pascali, because I want to get them tied up - and I want to get myself tied up.

"I want to, because I really love the place and I want to be here. Hopefully the chairman sees that and can say to me 'yes, I'll give you a 10-year contract."
