USA international looking at Nurnberg stay
US international defender Timothy Chandler is hoping he will soon be discussing a new deal with Nurnberg.
The 21-year-old's current deal is due to expire next year, but as a first-team regular he is hoping to talk terms sooner rather than later.
The Frankfurt-born defender has made over 20 appearances for the Southern German side this season.
"As soon as we are dead safe in the league for next season I will speed up taking a decision on my future," he told Bild.
"I owe a lot to Nurnberg. I did become a Bundesliga player at this club."
