Bulls send Pell to Cambridge

Hereford midfielder Harry Pell has joined non-league Cambridge United on a month's loan deal.

Pell has made 31 appearances for the Bulls this term but his last came as a late substitute at the end of February, with the 20-year-old yet to feature under new boss Richard O'Kelly. However, O'Kelly remains keen on the youngster and is hoping a short stint in the Blue Square Bet Premier will see Pell return even more determined to regain his place. "We've decided to let Harry out to get some competitive first-team football under his belt," O'Kelly told Hereford's official website. "He's performed well in training since I've arrived and along with the other players who find themselves out of the matchday squad, his attitude has been impressive. "Hopefully the short loan spell will give him the regular competitive football he needs and he'll come back ready to fight for a first-team place here at Edgar Street."
