Swedish club will not rule out signing injured Celtic defender
Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic could be set for a summer return to former club Malmo after both parties revealed they would be open to a deal.
The 35-year-old is out of contract at Parkhead at the end of the season and is yet to be offered a new deal at the Scottish Premier League side.
The Sweden international, currently sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury, spent time at native club Malmo between 2001-04 and has not ruled out a return to his homeland.
Malmo director Per Agren told the Daily Record: "We would never rule out the prospect of signing a good player."
Majstorovic added: "I haven't spoken to any clubs in Sweden but I'm open to anything."
The defender joined Celtic from AEK Athens in 2010 and has notched up 66 appearances for the Hoops.
