FC Twente goalkeeper Sander Boschker has revealed he wants to play on for another year after notching up his 550th appearance for the Eredivisie club.
The 41-year-old has spent the majority of his career at boyhood side Twente and passed the milestone on Saturday, when Steve McClaren's men lost 2-0 at home to Feyenoord.
Dutchman Boschker is out of contract in the summer but is not planning on hanging up his gloves for at least another season.
He told Voetbal Primeur: "I would still like another year.
"I have much ambition and I have also been injured this season. So I will not say goodbye. If I can, I'll sign one more time."
Boschker, who made his Twente debut in November 1989, also spent a season as reserve keeper at Ajax in 2003-04.
