Paul Peschisolido was left worried about his job after Southend revived their promotion hopes with a 2-0 win at Pirelli Stadium.

David Martin and Neil Harris scored the goals to pile the pressure on Peschisolido, whose side have plunged from fourth to 15th in the table after failing to win in 11 games since Boxing Day. The Burton boss said: "I hope it doesn't cost me my job. I'm sitting down with the chairman on Monday and I'll see what happens. "I don't know what the agenda is but I guess the current run of results will be up for discussion. "I don't want to get sacked. I want to push the club forward and I still think I can, but it's not up to me." He added: "We went into Christmas in fantastic form and were sitting fourth in the table. Now we've gone 11 games without a win and I can't believe it's the same group of players."
