Kaiserslautern man faces eight months out

Kaiserslautern striker Dorge Kouemaha is set to be out for up to eight months after he damaged an Achilles tendon in training. The former Cameroon international is on-loan from Club Brugge, but the 28-year-old is now certain to be out for the season. And Kaiserslautern manager Marco Kurz could offer little comfort to the unlucky forward. "It's a very serious injury," Kurz told Rheinpfalz newspaper. "For Dorge Kouemaha this is bitter news. Simply, it sucks." Kouemaha has scored two goals for Kaiserslautern this season and it is unknown whether the club will take up their option to purchase the player in the summer.
