Boss: Bury giving away points

Bury manager Richie Barker was left cursing his side's soft centre after watching them lose 2-1 at home to Hartlepool.

Goals from Ritchie Humphreys and Adam Boyd put Hartlepool in the driving seat and despite late pressure and a consolation from David Worrall, Barker's side have won only two of their last 11 league matches. Barker said: "We couldn't get through to half-time without conceding a silly goal at a silly time. It's easy to play when you're 2-0 down and we did play some excellent stuff and dominated the game to be honest. "Even in the first half, we passed the ball much better than they did, but I told the players, as much as people want to come and see you play, they want to see you win games. "At the end of the day you get judged on results. People keep telling us what a good side we are, but we're not picking points up. "We played some great stuff and we're a good team, but we're too easy to score against and we weren't on the front foot in their 18-yard box either. We've got one clean sheet in 14 and it's just too easy to score against us. We try and play the right way, but there's two sides to the game."
